This review was suggested by a reader, who obviously knows her restaurants. We had no idea what to expect and I must tell you, the name Parkway Grill seemed kind of casual for our theme of first class dining. Every single thing about this restaurant is ultra-superb and it's not often that we can say that with a straight face.

Last Wednesday, we made a last minute arrangements take an out-of-towner to the Parkway Grill. When we arrived at 8 p.m., the parking lot was full and so was the dining room. We had to sit in the bar for a few minutes, listening to the pianist and sucking on generously poured, extra-dry Tanqueray martinis with tow (count ‘em, two) colossal stuffed olives apiece.
